Visual Designer

Key Role:

Assist stakeholders with creating engaging graphics for internal use in presentations, proposals, and other collateral. Provide integration with client delivery teams to solve customer problems through design. Assist in collaboration with development teams to design visuals to improve the user experience of Web sites, mobile applications, and other digital channels. Identify innovative and efficient problem–solving approaches. Assist with conducting research and analysis in the context of visual design work. Maintain responsibility and accountability for the completion and accuracy of work products. Manage expertise through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with peers and clients and consult with colleagues and clients, using well–honed communication expertise to become a trusted advisor


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with visual design

-Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

-Ability to show visual design expertise, including gathering raw data from various sources and developing comprehensive, visually engaging designs

-Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment with demonstrated customer support expertise

-Ability to leverage typographic expertise and a sense of design, including strict attention to detail

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Design


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with commercial or federal consulting

-Experience with front–end development coding languages, including HTML, CSS, or JS

-Experience with creating illustrations

-Experience with design principles and techniques

-Ability to multitask across multiple projects and clients in a fast–paced, team–based environment

-Ability to organize and self–direct to get things done

-Ability to be a self–starter with demonstrated customer support and collaboration expertise

-Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines effectively

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree a plus
