Vulnerability Management Training Specialist

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for training Air Force base network communications personnel on vulnerability management tools, tactics, techniques, and procedures with an emphasis on Air Force networks. Work on course delivery in a variety of formats, including lecture and lab exercises. Conduct course definition and development, as needed. Apply the limited use or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Develop resolutions to problems of limited scope. Follow standard practices and procedures and conduct closely managed work that follows specific, outlined, and detailed procedures. Make limited contributions to assignment activities.


Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with vulnerability management tools, tactics, techniques, and procedures, including an emphasis on Air Force networks

-3+ years of experience with tools that include Nessus/Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), System Configuration Center Manager (SCCM), Host Based Security System (HBSS), and Tanium/Automated Remediation and Asset Discovery (ARAD) and scripting techniques using these tools

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Ability to work on tight deadlines in a rapid-development environment

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-DoD 8570 Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Instructional Systems Design (ISD), including learning or leveraging existing expertise in Instructional System Design (ISD) concepts and methodologies

-BA or BS degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
