Wargame 360 Design Analyst

Key Role:

Implement the design, execution, and delivery of Navy wargames in a "play by e-mail" remote player format. Shape objectives, craft wargame constructs, author scenarios, facilitate participant discussions, and author after action reports and briefings. Use operations research techniques to develop wargame adjudication rules for sensing, fires, movement, logistics, and other warfighting functions. Provide work leadership for white or control cell. Prepare research papers, in-progress reports, final reports, presentations, and information papers.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in professional military operations research or wargaming

-Experience in Navy fleet or strike group staffs

-Experience with leading teams of analysts

-Experience with military forces as an analyst for organizations, including the Center for Naval Analyses

-Knowledge of the design of tactical and operational-level wargames

-Ability to deliver information to an audience

-Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong personalities

-Ability to travel oversees

-Top Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in the development and playing of commercial wargames

-Experience with physical science or applied mathematics

-Experience with analyzing carrier strike group tactics and operations

-Experience with Navy maritime operations center concepts and processes

-Knowledge of "play by e-mail" wargaming formats

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent creative writing skills with aptitude for generating a plausible narrative story-line

-TS/SCI clearance

-PhD degree


Clearance:

Applicant will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
