Wargaming Systems Administrator, Mid

Key Role:

Perform the full range of system administration and database management tasks, including Linux, and Windows server operation system administration, installation, configuration, and reconfiguration, under general direction. Install and load software, and applications server configuration, including system performance monitoring and multi-server troubleshooting, and database management and maintenance. Provide support to install and upgrade Air Force Modeling and Simulation Training Toolkit (AFMSTT) architectures.

Basic Qualifications:

-4 years of experience with systems, including LINUX and LINUX scripting languages

-2 years of experience with administering large, multi-server, workstation and Xterm client, thin-client, and relational database structured application systems

-Experience with system and database monitoring

-Knowledge of Oracle Database Administration and SQL query

-Knowledge of networking in a TCP/IP-based, intranet-like, and distributed client environment

-Secret clearance

-AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Air Force Modeling and Simulation Training Toolkit (AFMSTT), preferred

-MCSA Certification, preferred
