Water Resources Specialist, Junior

Key Role:
Work with a team of technical experts evaluating and improving water quality programs. Perform audits, including evaluating drinking water infrastructure and water quality management programs. Develop compliance-based deliverables and reports. This position requires the ability to analyze technical plans and develop compliance reports approximately 75% of the time and conduct water infrastructure and program assessments approximately 25% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with environmental auditing and report development

-Ability to interpret and apply codes, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

-Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize, and coordinate work within an assigned work area
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with water quality, including auditing, report development, and the technical aspects of water quality, such as sampling procedures, water treatment, or drinking water quality regulations

-Experience with the theory and operation of water supply and distribution systems

-Knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods used in water quality control
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BS degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering preferred

-Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
