Weather Forecaster

Key Role:

Provide detailed weather support in support of 24/7/365 MPC operations. Assist in the development and integration of relevant weather data into advanced systems and technologies. Integrate all weather environmental data from a variety of sources to assess current and forecast weather environment to issue weather products, including alert bulletins, and forecasts an anomaly assessment. Perform quick-look and forensic assessments to determine the potential for weather impacts to operations. Ensure the quality and timeliness of the production process use data or product monitoring tools and assessing the impact to products of missing or erroneous data, including validating and verifying weather models, products, and SOPs. 

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience in weather forecasting and meteorology
-Experience with Combat weather

-Ability to offer expertise in oceanographic, meteorological and space atmospheric conditions

-TS/SCI clearance 

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with USAF airborne ISR programs

-Experience authoring technical documentation and training materials.
-Experience with Microsoft Office

-BS degree in Meteorology or related technical field
