Web Developer, Senior

Key Role:

Join a dynamic team working with a large federal client supporting the development of enterprise Web-enabled IT applications, using various technologies to support client mission and goals. Develop code based upon requirements, project constraints, and optimal use of technology and available resources with minimal supervision. Estimate development duration based on logical task break down. Provide basic administration of Oracle, as required, specifically backup and restore operations, creating and modifying permissions for users and schemas, and scripting the creation of Oracle objects, including packages, triggers, functions, and procedures. Communicate with teammates and clients to encourage and facilitate acceptance of ideas and articulate basic and advanced technical concepts in both written and verbal formats.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with Web applications development

-6 years of experience as a developer using ColdFusion 11.8

-Experience with using ColdFusion components inside of an MVC framework, including ColdBox required

-Experience with JavaScript or jQuery

-Experience with working in Agile/Kanban environments

-Experience with Restful API design and scalability

-Knowledge of the ColdFusion framework

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with using IDEs for application development, including Dreamweaver, Eclipse, NetBeans, TOAD, Visual Studio .NET, and ColdFusion Developer

-Experience with Java EE and Java SE, Spring, and Hibernate

-Experience with Web Services

-Experience with XML

-Experience with Selenium

-Experience with Jenkins

-Experience with MXUnit or JUnit

-Experience with Oracle security, including permissions, users, and roles

-Knowledge of data integrity and physical database design

-Knowledge of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

-Ability to script Oracle objects to support code migration, database change management, and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-ColdFusion or Java Programming Certification
