Web Operations Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Assist the program manager with the development of tactical behavioral influence strategies in support of the USAFRICOM information operations division. Synchronize social media and Internet messaging with AFRICOM component tactical operations to achieve overarching operational and strategic impacts in accordance with EXORDS and CONOPs. Work with the USAFRICOM Web operations branch in support of military objectives, and liaise between the Web operations team and staff and other organizations to coordinate and prioritize authorities, permissions, and support to current and future operations. Provide clear and concise written reports summarizing the team's efforts and strategies. Coordinate research and assist with company’s employees in supporting the customer development of mission area analysis, including in operational requirements and concept of operations. Represent WebOps as a subject matter expert on capabilities, authorities, applications, best practices, and procedures to leaders, staff, components, other DoD organizations, subordinate commands, allied and partner nations, and interagency for coordination, synchronization, and deconfliction of efforts.


Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience Web operations planning

-8 years of experience in MISO product development processes

-Experience in the development of MISO plans and programs, including tactical and operational integration in support of military operations

-Experience with Microsoft Word, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access

-Ability to show proficiency in briefing to senior executives on requirements, statuses, and predictions of programs and course of action recommendations

-Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment and coordinate tasks

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with operational-level MISO or IO planning at the brigade and numbered air force-level or above

-Experience with the MISO product development process, staff processes, and strategy development to synchronize social media analysis with operations

-Experience with effective MISO team

-Experience in online and social media engagement

-Possession of excellent collaborative skills

-TS/SCI clearance

-Completion of US Army Psychological Operations Qualification Course, Joint Information Operations Planning Course, and/or Information Operations Integration Course
