Web Operations Planner

Key Role:

Assist the program manager with the development of tactical behavioral influence strategies in support of the USAFRICOM Information Operations Division. Synchronize social media and Internet messaging with AFRICOM component tactical operations to achieve overarching operational and strategic impacts in accordance with EXORDS and CONOPs. Work with the USAFRICOM Web Operations Branch in support of military objectives and liaise between the Web Operations team and staff and other organizations to coordinate and prioritize authorities, permissions, and support to current and future operations. Provide clear and concise written reports summarizing the team's efforts and strategies. Coordinate research and assistance to company employees directly supporting the client in the development of mission area analysis, operational requirements, and concept of operations. Represent WebOps as a subject matter expert on capabilities, authorities, applications, best practices, and procedures to leaders, staff, components, other DoD organizations, subordinate commands, allied and partner nations, and interagency for the coordination, synchronization, and deconfliction of efforts.

Basic Qualifications

-15 years of experience in a professional work environment or 8 years of experience with Military Information Support Operations (MISO) may be substituted

-Experience with the development of MISO plans and programs and their tactical and operational integration in support of military operations

-Experience with speaking and briefing to senior executives on requirements, statuses, and predictions of programs and course of action recommendations

-Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and coordinate tasks

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with operational-level MISO or IO planning at the brigade or numbered air force-level or above

-Experience with the MISO product development process, staff processes, and strategy development to synchronize social media analysis with operations

-Experience with effective MISO teamworking and collaborative skill sets

-Experience in online and social media engagement

-Knowledge of extremist organizations, various cultures, and problem-sets in the AFRICOM AOR a plus

-TS/SCI clearance

-Completion of US Army Psychological Operations Qualification Course, Joint Information Operations Planning Course, or Information Operations Integration Course
