As a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) on our team, you have the chance to shape the next generation of electronic warfare technologies and solutions. You will help lead the technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation of complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet the clients' technical objectives. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them using advanced technology solutions. On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like signal processing, electronic warfare, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. You will grow your skills by merging model-based systems engineering and electronic warfare to create documented requirements for future electronic warfare systems.

You Have: 

  • 4+ years of experience with architecting solutions from user requirements and use cases to be applied across the systems engineering life cycle

  • 4+ years of experience with using UML, SysML, DoDAF, or UAF languages and frameworks

  • 4+ years of experience with supporting the design, development, and review of systems engineering design artifacts, including design and interface and system security design

  • Experience with modeling and requirements tools, including Magic Draw or Cameo, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or IBM Rhapsody or DOORS

  • Ability to use MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored MBSE artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions and trades made during acquisition and development

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have: 

  • 4+ years of experience with Systems Engineering or Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE)

  • 4+ years of experience with using digital engineering tools or methods and techniques to design DoD systems

  • Experience with the practical application of Unified Modeling Language (UML) or Systems Modeling Language (SysML)

  • Experience in working with DoD 

  • TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
