Job Description
The Opportunity:
As a software developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and resources to overcome your clients’ most difficult challenges. This role will help integrate Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities into a larger mission architecture, contributing to the development and execution of the customer’s Concept of Operations (CONOPS). The role focuses on implementing and wiring software and hardware components that enable EW sensors, effectors, and mission applications to interoperate with broader command‑and‑control, data, and platform services. Work products, such as software modules, integration scripts, test cases, and technical notes will inform operational documents and workflows so that stakeholders can understand how an integrated capability is employed end‑to‑end in multi‑domain operations.
In this role you will implement and integrate software components to connect EW applications and devices with mission data services, message buses, and orchestration layers. You’ll develop, test, and document code, establish integration harnesses, adapters, and APIs, contribute to automated build and test pipelines, participate in lab and field integration events, and capture findings in test reports.
Work with us to develop systems that create change for the better.
Join us. The world can’t wait.
You Have:
- Experience in the EW or Cyber domain, including planning, developing, or deploying capabilities
- Experience in one or more languages, such as Python, C/C++, or Java, writing unit tests, using Git, and working in Agile sprints
- Experience with systems integration, including reading ICDs, aligning to data schemas, implementing adapters and wrappers, and troubleshooting end‑to‑end data flows
- Experience with research and development to define the next generation of EW and Cyber capabilities
- Ability to write clear integration notes, test results, and “how‑to” steps that feed operational documentation, such as TTPs, SOPs, and CONOPS
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with EW or Cyber capabilities for wireless technologies
- Experience with platform integration, including adapters for tactical edge computing, such as SBCs or VPX, sensor control interfaces, or orchestration frameworks
- Experience bridging lab rigs to field test platforms
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
