As the Information System Security Officer (ISSO), you will define and manage the security architecture for diverse R&D networks at the forefront of technological innovation, working with the latest advancements in cybersecurity and software development. Your mission will be to design, develop, and implement solutions that ensure the security and efficiency of the Army's digital infrastructure.

You Have:
Experience in interfacing successfully with internal and external customers, including ISSMs, SCAs, or Program Managers
Experience with assessing security artifacts and POAM items, determining mitigation plans, and creating follow-on documentation for submission to AO and ISSM
Experience with performing vulnerability management, STIG application, and POAM resolution
Knowledge of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 compliance, RMF, and NIST framework principles, and how these requirements translate to cybersecurity solutions, processes, configuration implementation, or application requirements.
Knowledge of security technologies and devices, including network firewalls, web proxies, intrusion prevention systems and intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners, or penetration tools
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with providing network, system administration, or computer operations support
Experience with maintaining records and artifacts within eMASS or other cyber risk management system (Xacta, Open RMF, etc)
Experience with developing and managing ATO Packages, authorization actions concerning software development and testing, and the interpretation of patterns of non-compliance to determine their impact on levels of risk or overall effectiveness of the cybersecurity program
Knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography algorithms or technologies, keying materials, PKI certificates, and security life cycle management
Knowledge of cloud architecture and virtualization security architecture
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity
CISSO and CISSP Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
