Logistics Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Develop and implement logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products to enhance product flow. Provide analytical support for the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements in to develop strategies to achieve preferred delivery times and order fill rates. Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports. Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers. Possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing, planning, and staffing of critical design documents necessary to field satellite communication capability to the U.S Army IAW AR 700-127, AR 700-142, and DA PAM 700-142
  • Knowledge of U.S Army tactical satellite systems
  • Ability to serve as an expert logistics management specialist concerned with directing, developing, and performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) for major complex systems that encompass new and emerging technologies or complicated fielding requirements
  • Ability to provide logistics engineering support in developing Depot Level, Direct Support and Organizational level technical supply and support in support of U.S. Army satellite systems
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 10 years of experience as a logistical analyst or Bachelors Degree
