Operations Support Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Perform a wide variety of analytical and administrative duties in support of the organization. Manage staffing and track internal and external suspense and correspondence with designated functional areas of the organization. Assist with initiating, developing, revising, recommending, and ensuring implementation of policies, plans, procedures, and directives under guidance of senior staff. Assist in the definition of and documentation of processes into standard operating procedures or other written procedures. Assure integrated and coordinated short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning on projects and tasks. Identify existing or potential problem areas within the area of operations and recommends corrective action. Advise and assist higher-level staff pertaining to assigned program, briefing preparation, and objectives.  

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with operations support

  • Experience with providing operations support to DoD, PEO or PM organizations

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the planning process and project management, including risk analysis and management support

  • Ability to collaborate both internally and externally and provide advice and support to the organization leadership, staff, and program managers on any assigned programs, projects for stakeholder engagements, briefings, and reports

  • Ability to analyze issues and propose appropriate resolutions 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a sense of urgency

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Office 365 or Share Point Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
