As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization’s desired reputation. We’re looking for an experienced communications specialist like you, who is ready to share your knowledge and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you’ll use your skills and experience to design, develop, and produce a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that support our client’s goals and initiatives and advance organizational initiatives.
As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll develop creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to create long-term and short-term communications plans and align messaging with
organizational goals.
As the organizational advisor of all aspects of oral and written communications, you’ll develop and execute strategic communications plans, advise leadership on key messaging, draft internal and external publications, develop and release workforce messages, and assist with promoting a social media presence. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform audiences through key messaging and targeted outreach strategies that promote the advancement and modernization of the Army
network.

You Have:
5+ years of experience working in an Army or DoD environment
3+ years of experience directly supporting communications strategies within a tactical Army program
Experience supporting strategic communication priorities and activities, such as industry engagements
Experience with drafting talking points and scripts to support key leader engagements
Ability to develop and manage an organization’s communications plan
Ability to draft workforce messaging, organizational flyers, and command briefs
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Army and DoD branding policies
Experience producing communication strategies that support the delivery of network solutions and Command and Control
Bachelor’s degree in Communications
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
