Strategic Advisory and Communications Supporter

Key Role:

Bring in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of service or joint missions, processes, and culture. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience writing Army formatted documents for command review, including executive summaries and weekly activity reports and managing information, and correspondences at the General Officer and Senior Military level, including developing trip books, daily read books, and weekend read books

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, to take director's intent and tailor presentations to varying audiences

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with little to no errors

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as a military staff officer preferred

  • Experience as a staff support officer a plus

  • Knowledge of the Army's S&T priorities and initiatives preferred

  • Ability to support the development and maintenance of a data and knowledge management system, including developing and implementing processes leveraging the Army 365 environment
