Key Role:
Write, edit, and manage technical documentation. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical writing expertise to various DoD documentation projects. Ensure that requirements are met, and documentation is clear, concise, and understandable to its intended audience, present and future. Exercise quality control over documents intended for internal and external distribution. Interpret and coordinate documentation and communication policies and procedures. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Handle classified information. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of experience with writing, editing, and managing technical documentation for DoD applications, missions, or initiatives
Experience with enforcing quality standards for delivery, applying template formats, and tracking documents through a development process
Experience with using Microsoft Office tools and applications, including Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, and Excel
Knowledge of handling, marking, and tracking of classified material and DoD Issuance Style Guides, including AP, Chicago, APA, or MLA style guides
Ability to reduce or synthesize material into concise language to help users and clients fully understand content
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience working with government contracts
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent interpersonal, organizational, and team building skills
TS/SCI clearance
Masterâs degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,200.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.EEO Commitment
