Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, Lead

Key Role:

Blend cyber technical knowledge with intelligence analyst skills to provide detailed assessments of how a capable adversary can use cyber to access or disrupt weapon systems. Conduct research on specific cyber actors and adversaries with a likely interest in specific weapon systems or infrastructure. Use these threat assessments to help teams understand how an adversary might apply Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to generate desired effects on critical systems. Leverage all-source and classified intelligence reporting to conduct analysis for their teams and DoD leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity

  • Experience with leading analytical teams

  • Experience in finding and reading threat assessments in the cyber domain, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) used by adversaries

  • Ability to collect, document, assess and analyze cyber threat information

  • Ability to present reports and findings to management      

  • Ability to perform digital forensic tasks for cybercriminal activities  

  • Ability to conduct strategic assessments on systems and networks and provide tactical analyses and suggestions for network operation  

  • Ability to provide technical assistance regarding vulnerability assessments and intrusion detection to other incident response and security operation teams 

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with military cyber operations

  • Experience with staff level OSD cyber-related activities

  • CompTIA Security+, Certified Penetration Testing Engineer (CPTE), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), EC–Council Certified Incident Handler (ECIH), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certification
