5G Telecommunications Engineer

The Challenge:

You have helped architect and implement previous generations of mobile network technology, but you want to stay with the vanguard. Your desire to stay technical has kept you on keyboard, deepening and widening your skills. Now is the time to take your next leap—helping Booz Allen Hamilton design, implement, and analyze 5G and next generation mobile network solutions! Help us manage, maintain, and secure our cutting-edge, carrier grade, cloud-native 5G network to support vulnerability research, data science efforts, virtual and augmented reality programs, and much more. Our internal and client-supported work relies on the availability of our 5G Lab, and we need you to meet those expectations.

As a 5G telecommunications engineer, you will apply your expertise in mobile core protocols, architecture, and configurations to support efforts running on our 5G lab. Since you’ve already mastered telecommunications architecture and implementation, you welcome the challenge of learning virtualization and containerization techniques and platforms—the next evolution of mobile network architecture. Collaborating with internal and external organizations to help guide the 5G Lab gives you the ability to affect change.
