Engineer

Key Role:

Provide engineering support to the cyber exploitation of large- or small-scale networks and the data riding on them to uncover unknown and emerging adversary capabilities. Apply advanced engineering and technical expertise to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. Use scientific principles, engineering best practices, and industry standards to perform analysis on design, control, and operations data related to infrastructure systems and their associated control systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with engineering application

  • Experience as an Electrical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Energy, Transportation, or Controls Engineer

  • Experience with creating and running models and simulations of infrastructure systems or ICS

  • Knowledge of how infrastructure systems are designed, configured, operated, controlled, maintained, and protected

  • Knowledge of electric power systems and generation, transmission, and distribution or chemical and petrochemical processes, or Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants processing, transport, and storage or transportation, including rail systems or Nuclear processes for enrichment or Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Building Management Systems (BMS), or Vehicle Telematics

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with or for the Federal Government or the US Department of Defense

  • Experience with SIGINT

  • Experience with working for a utility

  • CSSA or GICSP Certification

  • PE License

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
