On our team, you’ll troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of Nation-State capabilities. You’ll leverage the research of technology and market trends to further develop security solutions. Using your expertise, you’ll assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls.
In this role, you’ll directly impact National Security by ensuring that these systems operate under all possible conditions. With mentoring, challenging hands-on problem-solving, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:
- 14 years of experience as an ISSE on government programs of high complexity
- Experience with system security engineering in system security design process, engineering life cycle, information domain, cross domain solutions, commercial off-the-shelf and government off-the-shelf cryptography, identification, authentication and authorization, system integration, risk management, intrusion detection, contingency planning, incident handling, configuration control, change management, auditing, certification and accreditation process, principles of IA including confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation, availability, and access control, or security testing
- Experience recommending system-level solutions to resolve security requirements
- Experience on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components
- Experience recommending system-level solutions to resolve security requirements and proposals to improve IA policy
- Ability to perform or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or System Engineering
- DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IASAE Level 2 and CISSP Certification

- Knowledge of security standards and information security and compliance frameworks, controls, and best practices
- Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and processes
- Knowledge of mission-based risk assessments
- Knowledge of best practice Cybersecurity and Threat-based Cybersecurity frameworks and latest trends
- Knowledge of DoD software test planning and execution practices
- Knowledge of U.S. government cybersecurity strategy for Weapons and Space systems security
- Possession of excellent time management skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
