Journeyman Graphic Designer

Key Role:

Produces graphic designs, using a variety of techniques and software, for both print and electronic communications such as promotions, advertisements, and instructional materials distributed through a variety of media outlets. Applies specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance. May review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with the research, design, and prototype of digital and non-digital products, making products more intuitive and aesthetically pleasing

  • Knowledge of developing content in accordance with required standards and ensure Section 508 Compliance

  • Ability to create and deliver educational art assets, videography, 2D/3D modeling, virtual motion graphics products, animations, videos, and visual effects for interactive courseware and immersive learning environments

  • Ability to conduct conceptual design and illustration, leveraging typography and data visualization strategies to clarify complex subject matter for a diverse audience

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with infographics and data visualization

  • Experience with multimedia and Web design

  • Knowledge of information architecture and usability

  • Possession of excellent presentation, interpersonal, customer support, and collaboration skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:
