Knowledge Systems Manager

The Opportunity: 

You know that knowledge managers touch every single part of a business and wear multiple hats: from caring for the client and their meaningful project goals to participating in system improvements and being a key contributor to their project’s success. We’re looking for someone like you to help our clients meet their mission by establishing and implementing their Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) knowledge management (KM) systems strategy.

In this role, you’ll deliver the most advanced digital solutions. You’ll work closely with clients to develop, field, implement, execute, and sustain an overall KM capability strategy, methodology, and knowledge base in support of the Joint Force. You'll provide delivery of a KM capability to promote knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes and systems by strengthening links between knowledge sharing and the information systems focused on the Commander's intent and guidance. You’ll collaborate to improve integration among information systems in the organization that will facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems. You’ll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to support implementation of metrics to track progress, while working together with your team to make a tangible difference.

You Have:   

  • 2+ years of experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) in a KM role

  • Experience with KM methodologies, tools, foundation technologies, methodologies, and best practices through the use of Confluence and Jira

  • Knowledge of information technology program management theories, principles, and practices to carry out responsibility for information systems and programs, including life cycle processes, such as creating, modifying, reviewing, and using programmatic solutions for data or content issues

  • Knowledge of concepts, data standardization requirements, procedures, projects, and documentation techniques to create and serve as a technical reviewer for programmatic solutions to assist analysts

  • Ability to apply concepts of automated systems and data standardization requirements, procedures, projects, documentation, and techniques

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with KM or Bachelor's degree

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to clearly present issues and recommendations

  • Jira and Confluence Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
