Key Role:
Leverage quantum materials and information science to identify viable quantum sensing and quantum network device approaches to accelerate client solutions. Bring an understanding of quantum measurements to the primary study of defect spin qubits and modeling and simulating impacts of sensor design decisions to performance in mission environments. Communicate and collaborate efficiently with other members of the research group. Conduct independent research and develop unique, enabling ideas for operational solutions and collaboration with already established network of external research groups and clients. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with theory and experimentation of quantum materials as demonstrated to scientific publications
Experience with handling large data sets, including data collection, manipulation, and analysis
Experience evaluating and interpreting experimental data
Experience with Python
Ability to convey complex concepts to a diverse audience either in writing or verbally
Ability to work collaboratively in a manner that leverages diverse backgrounds and expertise
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Master's degree
Additional Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a laboratory environment
Experience with software development
Knowledge of low MKS and room temperature qubit measurements
Knowledge of optical readout and coherent control of spin qubits or electrical readout and integration with CMOS devices
TS/SCI clearance
Doctorate degree in Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
