Job Description
The Opportunity:
At a certain point, experience-based system design can start to look like clairvoyance. When you’ve developed so many systems that you can not only orchestrate the best solution for any technology-based challenge, but you can also anticipate and preempt future issues, you’re a solutions architect. You’ve evolved your skills into strategy through a long path of software development accomplishments and the curiosity to understand how all of the pieces of an IT ecosystem fit together. Are you ready to use your combination of knowledge, skill, and experience to take on the toughest challenges in secure enterprise architecture for national security missions, including classified communications and Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC)?
As a Solution Architect on our team, you’ll translate customer IT needs and future goals into actionable architecture plans by crafting design specifications, requirements, and integration strategies. With your guidance, we’ll help transform the way national security organizations use technology, including secure mobility, cloud migration, and modernization of legacy systems. And what do you do next in a career where you’ve reached this level? You mentor the next set of engineers to help them grow into tomorrow’s architects.
What You'll Do:
Provide technical leadership for specifying, designing, implementing, testing, accrediting, deploying, and sustaining enterprise system and service architectures in distributed, net-centric environments.
Develop solution architectures, technical roadmaps, and design documentation integrating systems across multiple domains.
Lead stakeholder workshops and technical interchange meetings, translating complex architectures into clear, actionable language.
Incorporate security and compliance frameworks, such as DoD STIGs, RMF, and NIST 800-53/171, into design baselines.
Stay current on technologies, such as secure mobility platforms, encryption, mobile device management (MDM), VPN solutions, and CSfC-compliant components.
Work with us to transform the future of digital platforms.
Join us. The world can’t wait.
You Have:
5+ years of experience leading or supporting enterprise or mission-system architecture for defense, intelligence, or federal programs
Experience developing solution architectures, technical roadmaps, and design documentation integrating systems across multiple domains
Experience producing or governing architecture artifacts, such as system views, interface specs, or decision records, for technical reviews and audits
Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks, such as DoD STIGs, RMF, or NIST 800-53/171, infrastructure integration, and networking concepts, including data flows and segmentation
Ability to lead stakeholder workshops and executive briefings, coordinate technical schedules, manage risks, and validate implementation against architecture intent
Ability to influence technical direction and build consensus among stakeholders
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Management field
CompTIA Security+ CE or INCOSE CSEP Certification
Nice If You Have:
10+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale architectures within DoD environments and leading secure mobility and CSfC-compliant solutions
Knowledge of CSfC requirements, NIAP Protection Profiles, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools, such as Jenkins, Terraform, or Ansible
TS/SCI clearance preferred
CISSP, CISM, INCOSE ESEP, or ITIL Foundation Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
