Technical Signals and Discovery Analyst, Lead

Key Role:

Provide COMINT and Foreign Instrumentation Signal (FIS) exploitation to uncover unknown and emerging adversary capabilities leveraging expertise in exploitation. Derive sense-making from SIGINT and non-SIGINT data to help drive operations against the most challenging mission requirements supporting warfighters, protecting national security, and informing national leaders. Work with a high performing team against the most challenging technical efforts to grow and develop new expertise and share methodologies with other analysts. Collaborate and guide collection managers and collection management functions. This position will require travel of up to 100% of the time.  


Basic Qualifications: ​

  • 8+ years of experience with signal analysis
  • Experience with Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT) technical analysis
  • Experience with collection management principles
  • Experience with developing accurate signal chronologies and determine relationships between related signals
  • Knowledge of classified and unclassified databases to use for baseline research of platforms of interest
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with signal analysis, BA or BS degree and 8+ years of experience with signal analysis, or MA or MS degree and 6+ years of experience with signal analysis


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with evaluating and improving tools for collection, analysis, and processing
  • Experience with implementing new signal processing and exploitation techniques in Python or C++
  • Knowledge of processes and tools related to technical COMINT and FISINT and other technical SIGINT disciplines, including COMINT and ELINT
  • Knowledge of client requirements and oversight policies
  • Ability to provide briefing and training on in-depth FISINT analysis and collection
  • Ability to evaluate system inaccuracies and enable system accuracy improvements
  • Graduate of 3810, 4810, 450, 451,452 or other signals analysis courses
