Key Role:
Serve as the user's advocate throughout the product design and development process, providing critical user-centric insight that informs product strategy. Explore all aspects of a user's experience, establishing a complete understanding of their needs and preferences through a variety of tools and techniques, including extensive market research, user research, and usability testing. Serve as a storyteller, translating research into actionable user insights for clients, designers, developers, and other stakeholders. Work with versatile teams, including UX designers, service designers, AI developers, and product development teams, to continually test, ideate, validate, and improve user interactions and adoptions with AI products. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience creating user personas or user research
- Experience conducting user research to inform strategies for developing AI capabilities that keep the end user in mind from start to finish
- Experience leveraging industry whitepapers to produce UX frameworks
- Experience aiding user adoption of AI capabilities through training
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for the user-centered design process and UX principles and techniques
- Ability to practice developing scalable frameworks or strategies for user adoption and user experience
- Ability to prepare presentations and deliver briefings to senior leaders, general officers, and business executives
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills via verbal and written communication methods
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience developing an analysis of alternatives
- Knowledge of high-level data and AI concepts, and communicating with both technical and non-technical people on these concepts
- Knowledge of data interoperability, including bridging gaps, standardizing data, and promoting seamless exchange across systems
- Knowledge of Agile development
- Knowledge of the AI/ML lifecycle of deployment
- Ability to use digital tools and modern data platforms
- Ability to multi-task and contribute to multiple lines of effort simultaneously
- Ability to be passionate for modern AI/ML applications and implementations
- Possession of excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
