Cloud Engineer

On our team of experts, you’ll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We need you to help us develop Cloud-based solutions to our customer’s toughest challenges.
You’ll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to build and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal Azure, AWS, and GCP labs, you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients’ challenges, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or building new ones from scratch, you’ll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips. You Have:
4+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud
Experience with DevOps methods and practices
Experience with Cloud development, migration, or implementation
Experience with container orchestration
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
8570 Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Identity Authentication and Authorization, including Single-Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID
Experience with Advanced Networking design and troubleshooting, including DNS, Routing, or Subnetting
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, Cloud formation, or Configuration as Code, including AWS SSM, Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash
Knowledge of Ubuntu, RHEL, and Windows Server
Knowledge of Active Directory and GPO
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Certification or AWS Certified Developer - Associate Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
