Combat Medical Technologist

The Opportunity:

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is looking for a Combat Medical Technologist to support biomedical research and development programs. In this role, you will work with the DARPA office to provide expert guidance on the development and implementation of advanced combat casualty care technologies and medical systems.

You'll leverage your extensive hands-on experience with battlefield medicine, operational insight from current conflicts, and a passion for leveraging cutting-edge technology to save lives in austere environments. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and monitor program milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.  You will also prepare technical reports, briefings, and documentation for senior leadership and external stakeholders.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in developing technology for military medicine, emergency medicine, or trauma care settings
• Knowledge of battlefield medical protocols and triage procedures
• Ability to conduct rigorous technical evaluations and solution validation
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with technology development and deployment in war zones or combat environments
• Experience with tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) or similar programs
• Experience with medical device development and regulatory processes
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and contracting
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Top Secret clearance
• Master’s degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
