Electrical Engineer Microelectronics Consultant

Key Role:

Support major microelectronics programs in the areas of design, verification, fabrication, packaging, technology node access, integrity, trust, and assurance. Provide technical and programmatic advice and support services for a range of advanced weapon system, sensor, and computer processing related technologies and programs. Assist the government with technical assessments, strategic planning, and engineering evaluations. Support the design, development, test, fielding, and sustainment of advanced microelectronics systems and associated trust and assurance programs. Provide technical expertise in the analysis and design of integrated circuit for critical technologies for the DoD. Assist the government with preparing assessments of technical progress toward major engineering milestones for a portfolio of unique and sensitive government programs. Maintain modernization tech roadmaps related to microelectronics, including all DoD activities and applicable program elements that are current and updated at the direction of the respective program directors, coordinate roadmaps with key stakeholders, including DoD leaders, the Services, Agencies, and other key partners and refine and update Science and Technology (S&T) roadmaps based on feedback from stakeholders and changes to technology development investments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with microelectronics
  • 1+ years of experience with microelectronic systems engineering and technology development programs
  • Experience with integrated circuit design, verification, fabrication, or packaging
  • Experience with integrated circuit verification, security, trust, or assurance
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Additional Qualification:

  • Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in EE, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering preferred; PhD degree in EE, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering a plus
