We need your skills and expertise in aircraft mission systems development and lab testing to develop creative solutions that directly impact the warfighter.
As an aerospace and test engineer on our F-35 delivery team, you’ll provide expertise in evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, and improving the design of Fifth Generation fighters. Your experience in DoD advanced technology and military aircraft capability test and development is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge aircraft technology. You’ll work with a large community of aerospace and naval engineers across the firm and collaborate with Program Managers of advanced F-35 capabilities to deliver world-class solutions to modernize test labs using new and technologies for compatibility with model-based systems engineering. Your engineering knowledge will help clients in the international F-35 partnership expand and improve their capabilities to keep the warfighter one step ahead of aggressors.

You Have:
12+ years of experience in test or development of DoD mission systems, including ground-based test for military aircraft systems
Experience with technical project management for DoD acquisition or Science and Technology (S&T) development
Knowledge of ground-based lab test, anechoic chamber test, and modeling or simulation for verification and validation
Ability to assess capabilities and modernization roadmaps for ground-based test facilities, and advise customer on avionics or sensor ground test technology options, applicability to program objectives, and level of technical maturity
Ability to conduct gap analyses, develop and organize S&T portfolios, and conduct risk-benefit analysis
Ability to work independently while coordinating across a large stakeholder community to achieve meaningful results
Secret clearance
Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology Management
Nice If You Have:
15+ years of experience in ground-based test and simulation model validation for military aircraft avionics and mission systems
Experience with test labs, anechoic chamber test, and multi-spectral environment modeling
Experience working in an aircraft test program for a DoD ACAT-I acquisition program
Experience working in the DoD S&T community
Top Secret clearance
Doctorate degree in a technical discipline
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
