Facility Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Work as part of an integrated team of asset managers, program management professionals, and facility engineers to drive Marine Corps installation master planning initiatives. Prepare and review Basic Facility Requirement packages for Marine Corps units, drive space management solutions and planning, and develop cost estimates and schedules for associated planning initiatives and recommendations. Identify possible program risks to meeting budget and performance goals. Plan, coordinate, lead and attend meetings with clients and Marine Corps officials at installations worldwide as well as headquarters.
 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoD facilities and installations engineering or community planning

  • Experience with construction project management or facility operations

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Marine Corps Facility planning and infrastructure

  • Experience with facility space management

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Master's degree in Technology

  • American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification preferred

  • Professional Engineer, Project Management Professional, or other Facility and Infrastructure Domain Certification
