Geospatial Analyst

The Challenge:

Booz Allen supports our client tracking 120,000 Real Property Inventory (RPI) assets and environmental liabilities at over 3,000 sites. Beyond simply tracking facilities and assets in an auditable fashion, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) play a key role in maintaining an accurate RPI, which largely determines the sustainment and facilities management funding. Additionally, GIS products help facilitate long-term planning, Real Property audits, Installation reporting measures, and Emergency Mapping, among other mission-critical aspects. As a Booz Allen geospatial analyst, you’ll be working with a team of analysts and domain experts responsible for data collection, data standardization, and quality control efforts of geospatial data. The team also manages the clients centralized standardized data collection geodatabase call the Common Installation Picture program by providing guidance, training, custom toolsets, and other ad hoc services to the 54 States and Territories responsible for the geospatial datasets. The team seeks a motivated candidate that has knowledge of Spatial Data Standards for Infrastructure & Environment (SDSFIE), DoD Real Property Systems, ESRI’s ArcGIS suite, ArcGIS python tool development, and data QA/QC methods.
