Key Role:
Analyze IT requirements in business processes, through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis, and collaboration across IT teams. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience as a business analyst or IT requirements manager
-Experience with identifying and assessing customer needs
-Experience with requirements gathering and analyzing data to determine solutions for issues
-Experience with presenting recommendations to product owners based on findings
-Experience with conducting current-state and target state analysis and design for software applications
-Experience with analyzing disparate systems to identify gaps and potential impacts
-Experience with analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitation
-Experience with using an Agile methodology or working in Agile Scrum or SAFe team environments
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in working with Commercial clients preferred
-Experience in working with federal and DoD organizations, including the Air Force preferred
-Experience in distilling complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with thorough acceptance criteria
-Experience with release planning and tracking and Agile using test-driven development, automated testing, and continuous integration environments
-Experience with requirements management tools, including Jira and Confluence or IBM Rational Suite, including ClearQuest
-Experience with business process modelling and architecture tools, including Visio or System Architect
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
-MA or MS degree preferred
-Agile Certification, including CBAP, PMI-BPA, BPMN, SAFe SA, or SAFe SPMPO, or ICAgile preferred
-Design Thinking Certification
