Job Description
Key Role:
Provide Knowledge Management (KM) and Microsoft 365 or SharePoint development support to a DoD client. Create, develop, implement, and maintain a KM program in line with the client’s organizational mission, vision, and objectives. Implement and support KM strategies, plans, processes and procedures, tools, best practices, and projects throughout the organization in close coordination with the stakeholder community to accomplish organizational objectives. Perform and manage a variety of communications and KM tasks and activities, including staff support, publishing, records, and administrative communications. Organize, maintain, and share data, information, and knowledge to ensure authoritative information is available across the staff at all classification levels. Integrate information from throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with the organizational KM to design, create, implement, and maintain technical KM solutions. Build and sustain KM competency within the organization by providing training and education on KM concepts, best practices, and services necessary to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration. Engage key audiences to promote awareness, understanding, commitment, and action in support of organizational mission and objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience performing or supervising KM planning functions, including applying KM principles, business continuity, solutions, and technologies to improve the organization, effectiveness, and efficiency of DoD organizations
- Experience with office management, publications and forms management, or preparing, controlling, and processing written communications
- Experience building and customizing SharePoint dashboards, sites, workflows, lists, libraries, content types, security groups, and content policies, procedures, and best practices
- Experience developing and using SharePoint components, including forms, templates lists, external content types, custom lists, service applications, Web parts, master pages, content management, and the Business Intelligence Center
- Experience with collaboration or Web service applications, information architectures, records management, and KM principles
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Teams, and Outlook
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience leading meetings and developing presentations and briefings for use by senior leaders
- Knowledge of Army organizations, culture, and processes
- Knowledge of workflows and best practices in a SharePoint 2013 or later, and SharePoint Online environment
- Ability to be flexible to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master’s degree
- KM Institute Certified Knowledge Manager Certification
- CompTIA Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
