Key Role:
Provide on-site DoD Front Office support during normal business hours in Arlington, VA. Coordinate with Government personnel and execute the tasks harnessing professional experience in PR or PA, graphic design, the U.S. military, and event and project management experience. Develop Senior Leader content ranging from drafting remarks, talking points and speeches for senior military members at the General Officer/Flag Officer level. Create ghostwriting op-eds intended for publication, editing copy, and drafting social media posts. Create ‘how to’ guides for a senior military staff regarding processes and procedures pertinent to the organization. Design surveys measuring effects of the organizations communication to their staff, that can be easily implemented and rolled out via USG networks. Create graphic designs to create relevant and on-trend, industry-grade graphic collateral such as logo marks, infographics, brochures (pamphlets, tri-folds, open-gate quads), newsletters, briefing books, brand or style guides.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in editorial graphic design and agency branding
Experience with creating visual guidebooks, branding guides, creating or customizing off-the-shelf graphics, logo marks, infographics and other graphic design collateral including pamphlets, tri-folds, newsletters
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, and Publisher and Adobe InDesign
Knowledge with concepts, principles, practices, methods, strategies, tools and tactics used in marketing, brand development and sustainment, PR, PA, strategic communications, event and project management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines, with mid-level and senior U.S. military and civilian staff in a highly professional work environment
TS/SCI clearance
BA or BS Degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience on the Joint Staff or in a U.S. military joint environment is preferred
Experience in C2, communications, computers, and cyber is preferred
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required
