Survivable Ground Systems Engineer & Integration Lead

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in leading a team working on large-scale space systems integration and systems engineering on space vehicles, OPIR payloads, and TT&C subsystems 

  • 10+ years of experience leading a team performing system engineering on a space-related Major Defense Acquisition Program, including space, ground, software, or hardware system

  • Knowledge of planning and sequencing, uplink and control, test, communications, data management, analysis, implementation, and deployment of a ground system 

  • Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2 

  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals  

  • Ability to be highly motivated with a dynamic work ethic and a strong desire to contribute to the DoD mission 

  • TS-SCI clearance  

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with leading a team performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space-based remote sensing systems 

  • Experience with leading a team using Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines 

  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02 

  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies 

  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification  

  • Ability to identify, analyze, resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions 

  • Possession of strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills  

  • TS/SCI clearance 

  • Master’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics or computer science discipline  

  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $160,000 to $180,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
