AFSIM Modeling and Simulation Analyst

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to analyze combat weapon systems in support of the DoD acquisition and testing cycle. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize aircraft, weapons, and multi-domain systems to successfully operate in complex threat environments. You’ll develop your skills in modeling and simulation, critical thinking, and data analytics while gaining experience in evaluating combat operations. You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with performing constructive analytical modeling and simulation assessments
  • Experience with applying engineering judgement when required to develop models of systems
  • Knowledge of aerodynamic systems, orbital mechanics, signal processing, sensor systems or integrated air defense systems (IADS)
  • Ability to identify cause-and-effect relationships by analyzing simulation output data
  • Ability to design and execute analysis test matrix to assess customer-specific trade space
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with mission-level M&S applications, including Suppressor, AFSIM, DIADS, or EADSIM
  • Experience with modeling each component of a kill chain, including find, fix, target, track, engage, and assess
  • Experience with a UNIX or Linux command-line environment, including shell scripting
  • Experience with developing simulation models of modern US and threat multi-domain combat weapon systems
  • Ability to multi-task across several analytical activities
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in STEM discipline
