Key Role:
Supports the planning of multiple simultaneous events for a U.S. Army client. Assists with coordination and execution of logistics for in-person and virtual events. Designs, develops, and produces a variety of internal and external communications and events materials. Applies detail-oriented skills, balances priorities, and contributes to a team that fosters creativity and growth. Maintains a driven, collaborative, and strategic outlook, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Applies specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in the strategic communications field
2+ years of experience with event planning and execution
Experience supporting and executing in-person and virtual meetings and events
Experience supporting special events at the local, regional, and national levels
Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and events, prioritize as necessary, and deliver to a variety of stakeholders
Ability to work across organizational levels, and take complex subjects and make them easily understandable
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience working in an Army or other DoD environment
Experience supporting and executing international events
Knowledge of AP style
Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment
Possession of excellent listening, observation, analytical, problem recognition and problem-solving skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
