As a lead project manager on our team, you’ll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding team. Our client will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As an authority in the health account, you’ll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client’s mission. You’ll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. This is your chance to impact the government while sharing your knowledge and expertise of program management methodologies.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with working as a project manager

  • Experience with managing healthcare projects in the federal domain, developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring the quality of deliverables, managing staff and client communications, providing analysis of project budgets and forecasts, and communicating with firm leadership to bring new knowledge to the project and perform regular reviews

  • Experience with working on a variety of projects or workstreams concurrently and working and leading cross-disciplinary teams towards common solutions or goals

  • Experience with working on cloud projects and programs from National Institutes of Health (NIH)

  • Experience with supporting federal government RFIs, RFPs, and client presentations

  • Knowledge of the project management life cycle

  • Ability to advocate for staff and be supportive of their development needs

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with managing federal technical and health research projects  

  • 10+ years of experience with leading cross-functional teams

  • Experience with communicating the value of biomedical research data and explaining complex analyses and themes to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to show a track record of solving large, complex problems

  • Possession of excellent leadership skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written client communication skills

  • Master's degree 

  • PMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
