The Challenge:
What if you could use your biological engineering, biological detection, or bioinformatics background to transform high-risk, high-reward scientific research programs? As a biologist, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to help shape and guide advanced research programs for the intelligence community. We’re looking for expertise in biological engineering, biological detection, or bioinformatics to help government program managers run successful research programs ensuring the capability to meet the biointelligence and biosecurity threats of the 21st century.
Our team of scientists provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to programs that have the potential to provide our nation with an overwhelming intelligence advantage. That’s why we need you, a biologist, who specializes in biology, synthetic biology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, genomics, or analytical biology, to help us advise our government clients work with research partners that come from Academia, other research institutions, and private industry. You’ll work hand in hand with the government program manager to deliver technical support and expertise on new concepts beyond the program but integral to the program’s success. We’ll look to you to share your expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. Join us and take on exciting challenges in the intelligence community.

You Have:
10+ years of experience in biodefense, synthetic biology, analytical instrumentation, molecular biology, fieldwork, sample collection, or bioinformatics
3+ years of experience in project management and project management principles for government research and development programs
Knowledge of biodefense, biointelligence, or biosecurity components
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Synthetic Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Genomics, or Analytical Biology
Nice If You Have:
Experience supporting or working within an Advanced Research or lower technology readiness level USG component driving biological research and development
Experience supporting the Intelligence Community or Defense communities
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Master's degree in
Biology, Synthetic Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Genomics, or Analytical Biology or a closely related field preferred; Doctorate degree in Biology, Synthetic Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Genomics, or Analytical Biology or a closely related field a plus
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
