Key Role:

Leverage advanced scientific and academic research expertise to drive large-scale biological or biochemical research agendas. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-6+ years of experience with vaccines, biologics development, or manufacturing in the biopharmaceutical industry

-Experience with leading vaccine or drug development teams

-Knowledge of medical product development or clinical trial operations

-Ability to provide advice to senior stakeholders

-Ability to work in a team-based or project environment

-Ability to lead projects or tasks

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree in Life Science, Chemistry, or Health-related field

Additional Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with immunology, infectious disease, or vaccines

-1+ years of experience with strategy or management consulting

-Possession of excellent analytical skills

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-PhD degree in Life Sciences or Chemistry preferred

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
