As a Scrum Master, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s modernizing critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done.

On our team, you’ll apply your functional knowledge to coach a development team to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project is successfully progressed. You’ll apply basic Scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems.

You Have:  

  • 3+ years of experience performing Scrum Master duties, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, sprint reviews, or retrospectives  

  • Experience as an Agile coach or project manager serving multiple teams, providing tasking, and adjusting to shifting priorities  

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, or Excel  

  • Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Kanban, or Lean-Agile processes and methodologies, and their application to process improvement  

  • Ability to facilitate and coach a dispersed, cross-functional team in a virtual or hybrid environment  

  • Ability to understand complex interdependencies of product delivery and support the Product Owner with maintaining and executing against product backlogs

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree  

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with a Health-related agency
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps

  • Knowledge of science management, operations research analysis, or financial and cost analysis 

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

  • Public Trust

  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Agile Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
