Ukrainian Linguist, Translator, and Interpreter
The Opportunity:
As a language-enabled analyst on our team, you will research and analyze partner language data and documents to provide executive summary insights and cultural insights to enable command objectives. You will provide translation and interpretation support for bilateral and multilateral engagements upon request. You’ll support intelligence exchanges by contributing subject matter expertise to enhance collective understanding and provide a limited written translation. You may also coordinate intelligence exchanges with partner intelligence entities and the intelligence community.

You Have:
- Experience in military lexicon and terminology
- Knowledge of partner nation's geography
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software in both Ukrainian and English, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to show an ILR score of 3 or higher in listening, reading, and speaking on the DLPT, ODA, or ACTFL Advanced High in the Ukrainian language
- Ability to support a rotating schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active passport with at least 6 months validity for the purposes of visa applications
Nice If You Have:
- Knowledge of military doctrine, operations, and materiel
- Master’s degree in Linguistics or Translation Studies specializing in Ukrainian language
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
