Job Description
Key Role:
Perform duties as the Senior Infrastructure and Information Assurance (IA) Engineer for a Department of Defense (DoD) client. Provide information systems security expertise functioning as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for current and future client initiatives. Provide project management expertise required to plan and coordinate future capabilities required to enable information sharing, collaboration, and interoperability as Enterprise Data Centric Services. Coordinate and work closely with project stakeholders. Review DoD wide policies and strategies. Study and examine cybersecurity strategies. Provide IT research and analysis in support of client projects. Maintain accurate record keeping to track time sensitive deadlines, establish trend analysis, and track quantity of work.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) responsibilities, including cybersecurity engineering, ISSM, Information System Security Officer (ISSO), policy analysis, control testing, POA&M management, and configuration management
Experience in working with security engineers to review compliance scans
Experience with performing RMF activities supporting the DoD
Knowledge of cyber risk posture
Ability to analyze and articulate risks for consideration by the Authorizing Official
TS/SCI clearance
8570 IAT Level III Compliant Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in the Indo-Pacific region
Experience in working with DoD tools, including eMASS and ACAS
Experience with performing cybersecurity assessments using standards, including CIS Benchmarks or DoD STIGS
Experience with executing systems diagnostic tools, including STIG, SCAP, ACAS, and JSIG requirements and fault identification techniques and vulnerability scanning
Experience with network engineering
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to ad-hoc requests
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
