SIGINT Analyst

The Opportunity:  

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our military every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that. As a SIGINT analyst, you use your specialized technical and functional experience and your attention to detail to develop reports, intelligence, products, and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to lead efforts to support our warfighters. 

As an intelligence analyst on our team, you’ll guide a team of analysts as they help your client understand mission environment. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll advise your client on new data sources and tradecraft, as your team builds assessments for warfighters, senior policymakers, internal client publications, and US IC-wide products. As the authority on your topic, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure.  

This is a chance to broaden your skillset into areas like automation and human machine teaming. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to help your clients meet their toughest analytic challenges.

You Have: 

  • 8+ years of experience performing SIGINT analysis

  • Experience with Intelligence Community SIGINT production organizations, data flow, and architecture

  • Experience with encryption techniques, routing, and network infrastructure, and CNO processes and capabilities

  • Experience using demodulation, signal processing, and network processing software and tools, and using SIGINT query APIs and databases

  • Experience interacting with IC partners

  • Knowledge of a broad spectrum of telecommunications technologies

  • Ability to assess network vulnerabilities and identify key network topology

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting dataflow and SIGINT production architecture elements

  • Experience with programming languages for scripting and automation, including Python or C++

  • Experience with vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, networking standards and protocols

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
