The Opportunity:
As a Data Analyst, you will support the U.S. Marine Corps by transforming operational, readiness, and administrative data into timely, actionable insights for commanders and staff. This role is embedded within the data analytics section and works directly with Marines and civilians across staff sections to inform planning, readiness assessment, and force employment decisions.
You will focus on data exploration, analysis, visualization, and communication, enabling leaders to understand trends, risks, and tradeoffs in complex operational environments. This position is analysis-focused and does not serve as a primary data platform or infrastructure developer.

You Have:
Experience analyzing structured datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns in readiness, operations, logistics, and personnel
Experience developing decision-focused visualizations and dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI
Experience translating analytical results into concise, mission relevant insights for commanders and staff
Experience responding to recurring and ad-hoc analytic requests in support of operational planning and assessments
Experience validating, cleaning, and documenting data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and traceability
Experience collaborating with analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to improve analytic products and workflows
Experience briefing analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of data governance, data management best practices, and responsible data use in a DoD environment
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience using the Maven Smart System (MSS) to access, analyze, or visualize data in support of operational decision-making
Experience developing using Microsoft 365 power applications
Experience with agile methodologies
Experience with working on real-time data and streaming applications
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and tools
Ability to communicate technical information and recommendations to peers, engineers, and analytic customers
Master's degree
Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
