District Defend Solution Architect, Senior

The Challenge:

At a certain point, experience based system design can start to look like clairvoyance. When you’ve developed so many systems that you can not only orchestrate the best solution for any technology based challenge, but you can also anticipate and preempt future issues, you’re a solutions architect. You’ve evolved your skills into strategy through a long path of software development accomplishments and the curiosity to understand how all of the pieces of an IT ecosystem fit together. Are you ready to use your combination of knowledge, skill, and experience to tackle the toughest challenges in product development and integration for high profile government organizations?

As a solutions architect on our team, you will be a highly visible strategic partner and thought leader spearheading the coordination between sales activities and product implementation for customer environments. You will help customers understand installation, integration, and configuration resources necessary to successfully address their unique requirements. Additionally, you will facilitate the virtual and on-site efforts to successfully deploy our product in alignment with customer requirements, government security policies, and other supplementary products. Upon successful implementation in customer environments, you will support ongoing operations, updates, and modification necessary to sustain and grow business.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with deploying client-server products and end-to-end solutions in complex government enterprise environments
  • Experience with endpoint technologies, including Bitlocker, user profiles/registries, certificate stores, UEFI, and networking, such as virtual and physical
  • Experience with configuring Hyper-V virtual machines and virtual networking to support endpoint and server configurations and operations
  • Experience with Linux endpoints, including package management, bash scripting, and network configuration
  • Experience with Windows domain fundamentals, including domain controllers, AD Site and Services, Replication, GPO’s, and ADFS
  • Knowledge of networking principles, including DNS, DHCP, PKI/Certificates, or VPN, such as IPSec and SSL
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS Diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with advanced Windows 10 features, including Kiosk Mode, Unified Write Filters, and Windows Defender integration
  • Experience with deploying on-premise and cloud infrastructure to host product’s server side services on Azure and AWS
  • Experience with endpoint security, enterprise mobility, and mobile/wireless products
  • Experience with Cloud orchestration technologies, including Terraform or similar tools
  • Experience with designing and engineering “gold load” server and client images for deployment
  • Experience with the management and deployment of firewalls, routers, proxies, and VPN solutions
  • Knowledge of the Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program, including capability packages and components list
