Project Controls Organization Invoicer

The Opportunity:

As a Project Controls Organization Invoicer in the Program Management Office (PMO) for a large contract you will prepare nonlabor invoice documentation each month. You will be aligning monthly charges against each Request to Initiate Purchases (RIPs) and Travel Authorization Requests (TARs). This role will collect approvals to bill charges that exceed RIPs and TARs and ensure sufficient funding is on contract for all nonlabor charges to be billed. In this role, you will prepare the list of items to defer each month and correct incorrect charges by creating adjustment vouchers. You will assist the travel specialist with creating TARs for anticipated travel and review expense reports for thoroughness and correct charge code alignment. You will brief new staff to the contract against their approved labor categories (LCATs). In this role, you will need to interact with multiple stakeholders, including the labor invoicer, biller, project controls colleagues and program managers.

You Have: 

  • Experience with working as an invoicer in a program control environment or supporting a major government contract

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel concepts

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Joint Travel Regulations

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience working as an invoicer in a program control environment or supporting a major government contract in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Knowledge of program finance or business operations support, including financial reporting, forecasting, variance analyses, and contract management

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $42,600.00 to $87,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
