Systems Engineer, Senior

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design cloud based software systems in support of national space. You'll develop complex operational systems utilizing Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering (DE) to accomplish Space Situational Awareness mission. You'll develop digital threads supporting a complex software development effort to migrate legacy monolithic applications into a modular open system architecture (MOSA). You'll develop system requirements from limited source documentation and work with development teams to map requirements into an Agile execution framework.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with Requirements Management, MBSE tools, and SysML to capture and maintain the technical baseline

  • Experience with working with fast-paced Scrum teams to meet aggressive schedules

  • Ability to derive an understanding of a legacy system based on analysis of source

  • Ability to perform integration, validation, and verification of a complex software system

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience developing frameworks for large complex systems

  • Experience migrating legacy monolithic baselines to open cloud-native frameworks

  • Master’s degree preferred; Doctorate degree a plus
